Learn Video Editing That Actually Works
We're based in St. Pölten and we teach people how to edit video content without the usual fluff. Our students learn software skills alongside creative storytelling — because technical ability means nothing if you can't tell a compelling story.

Why Most Editing Courses Miss the Point
Most programs teach you buttons and menus. They show you where the trim tool lives and how to apply a transition. That's fine — except knowing where tools are doesn't mean you can use them well.
We focus on decisions. When do you cut? Where should the audio peak? How do you guide a viewer's attention without them noticing? These questions matter more than memorizing keyboard shortcuts.
Our students spend time editing real footage from day one. Not demo files or perfect stock clips — actual messy content with lighting issues and awkward framing. Because that's what you'll encounter in real work.
What You'll Actually Learn Here
The program covers software proficiency, but that's just infrastructure. We're more interested in teaching you how to make choices that serve the story.
You'll learn color grading fundamentals — not just moving sliders around, but understanding why certain looks evoke specific emotions. Sound design gets equal attention because audio shapes viewer perception just as much as visuals do.
Pacing is another big piece. How long should a shot hold? When does a scene feel rushed versus when it feels deliberately energetic? These are instincts you develop through practice and feedback — which is exactly what our instructors provide.
How Our Program Works
Foundation Weeks
You start with software basics and workflow fundamentals. We get everyone comfortable with the interface before moving into creative work. This phase is straightforward — learn the tools, practice the mechanics, build muscle memory.
Creative Application
Once you're comfortable with the tools, we shift to storytelling exercises. You'll work on narrative structure, visual rhythm, and emotional pacing. Assignments get progressively more complex as your instincts develop.
Technical Refinement
Color grading, sound design, and motion graphics come next. These are the layers that turn competent editing into polished work. You'll learn when to use these techniques and — equally important — when not to.
Portfolio Development
The final phase focuses on building work you can actually show. You'll edit longer projects that demonstrate your range and decision-making ability. Instructors provide detailed feedback to help refine your style.
