Master Video Content Editing
There's something about watching raw footage come together into a story that clicks. Most people think editing is just cutting clips—but it's really about timing, rhythm, and knowing when silence works better than sound. Our programs focus on real projects and actual workflows, not theoretical concepts you'll never use.
We've been working with editors in Vienna and across Austria for years. What we've learned: people need hands-on practice with industry-standard software and feedback from professionals who've dealt with tight deadlines and picky clients. That's what these courses deliver.
Start Your Journey
Choose Your Learning Path
We've built three distinct programs based on where people actually start and what they want to accomplish. Some want the fundamentals, others need advanced techniques, and a few are ready to build a professional portfolio. Pick what matches your current situation.
Foundation Track
8 weeksStart from scratch. Learn the interface, basic cuts, transitions, and how to organize your media library so you're not hunting for clips at 2am. This program assumes zero experience and builds everything step by step.
- Interface navigation and workspace setup
- Basic cutting techniques and trim tools
- Audio levels and simple color correction
- Export settings for different platforms
- Project organization and file management
Professional Track
14 weeksFor editors who know the basics but want to work faster and produce higher-quality content. We cover advanced color grading, motion graphics integration, and multi-camera workflows. You'll finish with a portfolio piece that actually demonstrates your skills.
- Advanced color grading and LUTs
- Motion graphics and title design
- Multi-camera synchronization
- Audio mixing and sound design basics
- Client collaboration and revision workflows
- Portfolio project with mentor feedback
Complete Mastery
24 weeksThe full program. Everything from absolute beginner concepts through advanced post-production techniques. You'll work on real client briefs, learn how to estimate project timelines, and develop a professional reel. This is for people serious about making editing their career.
- Complete foundation and professional curriculum
- Advanced compositing and visual effects
- Professional workflow optimization
- Client management and project pricing
- Industry-standard plugin mastery
- Comprehensive portfolio development
- One-on-one career guidance sessions

How Our Programs Actually Work
Project-Based Learning
Every week you get a new project brief—sometimes it's a product demo, sometimes a short documentary piece, occasionally something weird like a 15-second ad with specific brand guidelines. The point is learning by doing real work, not just following tutorials. And yeah, some projects will frustrate you. That's kind of the idea.
Instructor Feedback That Helps
You submit your work, and within 48 hours you get detailed feedback from editors who've actually worked in post-production houses. Not just "good job" comments—actual notes about pacing problems, color inconsistencies, or audio issues you might have missed. It's like having a senior editor reviewing your cuts.
Software and Tools
We teach on industry-standard platforms. You'll need access to editing software (we provide guidance on student licenses and trial versions). All course materials are online, so you can work whenever your schedule allows. Most students spend 10-15 hours per week on coursework, but it varies depending on the track.
Typical Learning Progression
Weeks 1-3: Foundation Building
Interface mastery, basic editing mechanics, understanding your toolset. You'll complete simple projects to build muscle memory.
Weeks 4-8: Technique Development
More complex projects with specific technical requirements. Color grading, audio mixing, effects work. This is where it starts getting interesting.
Weeks 9-12: Real-World Application
Projects that mimic actual client work—tight deadlines, revision rounds, specific deliverable formats. You'll learn workflow efficiency here.
Final Weeks: Portfolio Development
Build showcase pieces that demonstrate your range. Get feedback on presentation, pacing, and technical execution. Prepare materials for actual job applications.
